Terms and Conditions Effective Date: 2nd April 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are entered into between Grocery Go Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us") and you ("you", "user"), the person accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services (the "Platform").

​

By using Grocery Go, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.​

1. About Grocery Go​

Grocery Go is an Australian-based platform that allows users to compare grocery prices across major supermarkets to assist with shopping decisions.

 

We provide information and comparison tools only. We do not sell products, process orders, or provide delivery services.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Where changes are significant, we will notify you via email or within the Platform.

 

By continuing to use Grocery Go after updates are made, you agree to the revised Terms.

3. Eligibility

By using Grocery Go, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The Platform is not intended for use by minors. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information

  • Keep your login details secure

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

 

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

5. Access Options

Grocery Go offers two types of access:

 

5.1 Early Supporter Lifetime Access

Prior to the public launch of the Platform, Grocery Go offered a one-time Early Supporter Lifetime Access purchase for $39.00 AUD.

 

By purchasing Early Supporter Lifetime Access, you are entitled to:

  • Full access to the Platform upon public launch

  • All future updates and features released on the Platform at no additional cost

  • No ongoing subscription fees, ever

 

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Platform is not yet live at the time of purchase

  • Your access will be activated upon the public launch of the Platform

  • Grocery Go will make reasonable efforts to launch the Platform in a timely manner

  • In the unlikely event that the Platform does not launch, you will be entitled to a full refund of your $39.00 AUD purchase price

  • "All future updates" refers to updates to the core Platform features and does not include any separately offered premium products or third-party services that may be introduced in the future

  • Early Supporter Lifetime Access is personal and non-transferable

 

Payments for Early Supporter Lifetime Access are processed securely via Stripe.

 

5.2 Subscription Access

Upon public launch, new users may access the Platform via a paid subscription:

  • Monthly subscription: $12.99 AUD per month

  • Yearly subscription: $89.99 AUD per year

 

Subscriptions are:

  • Auto-renewing unless cancelled before the renewal date

  • Processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play)

  • Subject to a 15-day free trial for new subscribers

 

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, after which access to premium features will cease.

 

Grocery Go does not process subscription refunds directly. Refund requests for subscriptions must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

6. Nature of the Service

Grocery Go:

  • Provides grocery price comparisons and related insights

  • Uses data sourced from third parties and publicly available information

 

Grocery Go does not:

  • Sell groceries

  • Guarantee product availability

  • Act as an agent for any retailer

 

Any purchases you make are directly with the retailer, not Grocery Go.

7. Pricing & Data Disclaimer

We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date pricing information. However:

  • Prices may vary by location, store, and time

  • Promotions and specials may change without notice

  • Data may not always reflect real-time pricing

  • Errors or discrepancies may occur

 

You acknowledge that:

  • Information provided is for general guidance only

  • You are responsible for verifying prices before purchase

  • Grocery Go is not liable for any pricing inaccuracies or differences

8. No Affiliation with Retailers

Grocery Go is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by supermarkets including (but not limited to) Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, or IGA.

 

All trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners.

9. Refunds

9.1 Early Supporter Lifetime Access All Early Supporter Lifetime Access purchases are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • The Platform fails to launch, in which case a full refund of $39.00 AUD will be provided

  • You are entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law

9.2 Subscriptions Subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies. Grocery Go does not issue refunds for subscription payments.

​

9.3 Australian Consumer Law Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If you have a consumer guarantee claim, please contact us at support@grocerygo.au.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Platform

  • Copy, scrape, or extract data without permission

  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes without consent

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

​

11. User Responsibility

You are responsible for your use of Grocery Go and any decisions you make based on the information provided.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and materials on Grocery Go are owned by or licensed to us.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.

​

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grocery Go is not liable for:

  • Any loss or damage resulting from reliance on pricing data

  • Any shopping decisions made using the Platform

  • Any discrepancies between displayed and actual prices

  • Any interruptions, errors, or outages

  • Any loss of data or unauthorised access outside our reasonable control

 

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

 

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for access to the Platform.

14. Force Majeure

Grocery Go is not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, power outages, internet disruptions, or third-party service failures.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grocery Go, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Any misuse of the Platform

16. Privacy

Your use of Grocery Go is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at grocerygo.au/privacy. We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

17. Communications

By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you via:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • In-app notifications

 

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

​

18. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with Grocery Go, we encourage you to contact us first at support@grocerygo.au so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

 

If we are unable to resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may escalate the matter in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if:

  • You breach these Terms

  • We are unable to continue providing the Platform

 

If the Platform is permanently discontinued:

  • Active subscribers will be entitled to a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of their current billing period

 

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
